Smokey Joe’s Cafe

Staging is a revue, consisting of 39 pieces of music. They were created by the legendary creative duo Jerry Leiber & Mike Stoller in 50-60 years of the 20th century. At the time, the compositions were included in the repertoire of such famous singers like Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, Peggy Lee, Bobby Darin, The Drifters and others, eg “Love Potion #9”, “Hound Dog”, “Spanish Harlem” and “Stand By Me” This revue differs with complete absence of storyline and dialogues. The show is a so-called “jukebox” where all the songs follow each other in a single stream. Classic American hits of rhythm and blues, and rock ‘n’ roll are performed by five men and four women. It is the longest running Revue in Broadway history.
